Overview
In this one-day course, suitable for beginners, you will be making a willow hare. You will learn how to make the structure from willow hoops and then to use a scribble weave to create the form. It's a fun technique, with lots of opportunity to give your hare its own special character. You will leave with your own hare to take pride of place in your home or garden and also the skills to make further creations.

Course Tutor: Hannah Deacon
Hannah is based locally in Plumpton Green. She spent her professional life working as an Environmental Manager but in the last seven years has taken a change in career bringing her closer to the natural environment and nature's gifts. She manages a local community Tree Nursery where they grow and plant trees from gathered tree seeds. Trees have many gifts and Willow is one of her favourites. She makes and locally sells a variety of willow products including garden obelisks, garden sculptures, decorations, baskets and bird feeders. Hannah enjoys working with both fresh and brown willow.
