Overview
This year’s festival is bigger, busier, and brimming with ways to celebrate the art of weaving.
In the Corn Exchange, watch master basketmakers at work. From log baskets to Sussex trugs (and even elegant Périgord shoppers) see traditional techniques brought to life. Chat with makers about their craft, discover their courses, and browse their beautiful creations. Drop in for free activities to try your hand at corn dolly-making or have a go at paper weaving.
When you’re ready for a break, our café is open all day with teas, coffees, soft drinks, filled rolls, cakes and biscuits, plus Pat’s wood-fired pizzas. A licensed bar opens in the afternoon to round off the day.
